The 13th annual Oakville Festivals of Film and Art (OFFA) took place from June 17–27, 2026, presenting more than 100 Canadian and international films across Oakville and Burlington. Established in 2014, OFFA has grown into one of Southern Ontario’s leading community-focused film festivals, combining independent cinema with live arts programming, filmmaker Q&As, networking events, and an Industry Summit designed to connect emerging and established screen professionals. A Canadian Screen Award-qualifying festival, OFFA continues to champion Canadian talent while showcasing stories from around the world.
This year’s festival featured world, Canadian, and regional premieres, special gala presentations, and programming celebrating Canadian, Indigenous, and international storytelling. The festival’s opening gala showcased the world premiere of ‘Blindly Victorious’, which became one of the event’s standout successes, selling out two screenings and earning the Audience Choice Award for Best Feature.
